About Us
Opened in 2026, we offer both dog + cat grooming. At Top + Tails we offer a brand new, custom built dog grooming facility with free parking in Saxmundham, Suffolk.
We are completely female owned and run, and we just love all our four legged furry friends.

End of Life Grooms
End of life dog/cat grooms provide hygiene, comfort, and relief for terminally ill/elderly pets. Relax your fur-baby during their final days.
What's Included?
Includes:
- Relief from matting: Severe matting is common in immobile dogs/cats and can cause skin infections, restricted movement, and pain. An end-of-life groom safely removes mats to keep your pet comfortable.
- Hygiene and cleanliness: Sanitary clips and gentle baths prevent hygiene-related sores and keep their coat clean, which is especially important if they are incontinent or spending more time lying down.
- Comfort over style: Grooming time is drastically reduced to avoid tiring the dog/cat out. The groomer will focus entirely on what makes your pet feel better, rather than achieving that perfect haircut.
Terms & conditions:
Before scheduling any grooming, please check with your vet. They can advise on whether your pet is healthy enough to attend a grooming session and if you need to avoid certain products. We won’t carry out any treatments that will distress your beloved four legged family member.

Subject to coat condition. If your pet is matted on check in, this groom will include the matting charge but we may not be able to groom your pet to your request. Matting charges and extra time charges can also be incurred depending on coat condition and time taken. It will be down to our groomers’ discretion to decide what is best for your pet.

Matted Coats
Suitable for all single-coated breeds, ideally maintained with grooming every 6-8 weeks and is only available alongside one of our packages.
What's Included?
Terms & conditions:
If your pet is matted on check in, the chosen grooming package will include an additional matting charge and will extend the appointment time. We will need to be advised of this before your pet’s session. It will be down to our groomers’ discretion to decide what is best for your pet.
